Trish in Transit

A few days before Christmas, I found myself on top of a mountain, covered in four layers of clothes and still shivering from the cold. Climbing Pulag in the rain was one of the most challenging things I’ve done this year (or maybe, ever) and I’ll share more about the experience later on, but for now I’d just like to greet everyone a very Merry Christmas!! 🙂

At the end of our trail, we chanced upon this little girl dressed in a Santa coat and hat. She was too shy to talk, but she had the sweetest smile and the most beautiful brown eyes. It was hot and the sun was shining, yet Santa was standing before us, smiling and playing with a ball of multi-colored rubber bands with the vast grasslands behind her. It doesn’t get any more Christmas-y than that. 😀
