Hello there! I’m Trish Lim, a 20 something who quit her desk job to travel, to “stuff your eyes with wonder” as author Ray Bradbury put it spectacularly.
I set up this blog as a promise to myself to Make Things Happen, to gain new experiences, write riveting stories, and take captivating photographs. I should say first, though, that if you’re looking for a travel guide, then you won’t find it here. I won’t be posting any itineraries, things to bring, or directions (I may post a few tips or advice, occasionally). This is a journal about my experiences – on the road, in the air, on sea, and even just at home. I think ‘adventure’ is really a matter of perspective. You can find it even in the most mundane situations, in places you’ve visited over and over again, in people you interact with every day – it just depends on how you look at them.
So, this is what this blog is all about: A story about being in transit, about regaining that sense of wonder most of us lose as we grow up, about discovering a small piece of the world one journey at the time – as told from my point of view.
That’s pretty much it. How about you, what’s your story? 🙂
