    Cagayan Valley: Photo Diary

These were taken during our trip to the northeastern region of Cagayan Valley. Been so busy lately, I didn’t realize it’s been almost five months since my friends and I flew to Tuguegarao and had this sunny adventure. Took me longer than usual to select and edit the photographs but finally here they are 🙂 Enjoy!

    Miracle in Myanmar

It’s nothing short of a miracle, watching the sun rise. Think of all the factors, all the moving parts of the universe that click like the cogs and wheels of a clock to bring you to this moment, to witness this spectacle. Thank you, 2014!

Wow that went by quickly. I’m not going to lie, 2014 was a challenge right from the very start.  There were decisions I wish I hadn’t made; money I wish I hadn’t spent; opportunities I wish I hadn’t forgone. It’s been a very rough journey. And lonely, too. But it’s been a great learning experience. I recall reading…

  • Ritwal

“No pictures,” our guide says as our boat enters a narrow river. I lower my camera and she adds, “Not until the ritual.” The tribe’s elder, Kuya Boyet, conducts the ritual just as darkness engulfs the marshlands. Two candles, bottles of beer and Royal, and a plate containing an assortment of candies lie at his…
